Objective: This study aims to examine the implementation of Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) services in improving the health quality of children under five in Jenggot Village, Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency. The study is grounded in the vital role of Posyandu as a community-based health service supporting national efforts to reduce stunting rates and improve maternal and child health. Method: A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis draws upon Duncan’s theory of organizational effectiveness, focusing on three key indicators: goal attainment, integration, and environmental adaptation. Results: The findings indicate that Posyandu services operate regularly and involve various stakeholders—including health volunteers, the Community Health Center (Puskesmas), and the local community—yet effectiveness remains suboptimal due to challenges regarding volunteer communication and a manual record-keeping system. The Posyandu demonstrates adaptability to residents' needs, evidenced by schedule adjustments and health education tailored to local requirements. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its application of classical effectiveness theory to evaluate Posyandu service performance and its emphasis on the digitalization of record-keeping systems as a strategic measure to enhance the efficiency and quality of health services at the village level.
